The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge culminates at the City of Adelaide Finish Line in the heart of Adelaide City.
This vibrant hub will be the perfect place to see the WorldSolarTeams arrive in the heart of the city from Thursday 17 October.
You can then explore a huge range of events and programs at the line to learn more about how the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is training the brightest minds in the world to lead us to a sustainable future.
Thursday 17 - Saturday 19 October (9.00am-5.00pm)
Enjoy the atmosphere of the City of Adelaide as the entrants roll up King William Street and across the finish at Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga. Follow your favourite team's progress on worldsolarchallenge.org to see when they're scheduled to arrive.
Cruiser Class Judging
Saturday 19 October, 11am - 2pm (subject to change)
The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge isn't a race - it's about putting possibilities into practice. The Crusier Class World Solar Teams will wait with anticipation as expert judges assess their consumer-focussed designs.
Come along and see the judging take place as design innovation, environmental impact, ease of access, occupant space and comfort, ease of operation, style and suitability are all considered to find a car that does its job, and looks good doing it!
Car Display and Parade
Sunday 20 October, 12.00pm - 3.00pm (approx)
Before they make their way to Victoria Park to get ready to go home, the cars will be on display for you to check out in the middle of Victoria Square from approximately midday.
See the cars up close, before waving them off in the parade from 3.00pm. The cars will head East down Wakefield Street and arrive at Victoria Park.
