MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT UNVEILS NEW LOOK CUSTOMISED PLATES
Attention Chief of Staff/Newsroom/2013 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge Accredited Media
The Northern Territory Minister for Transport, Peter Styles, will unveil the 2013 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge customised licence plates TODAY at the Top Gun scrutineering. He will present the customised plates to Event Director Chris Selwood before joining the behind the scenes look at the international ‘top guns’. Japan’s team Tokai the 2011 Champions, Netherlands high profile teams, Nuon Solar and Twente; American Solar Champions University of Michigan; Stanford University also from the US; along with Punch Power Train from Belgium, followed by the Aussies, Team Arrow from Queensland and University of Western Sydney will all be on the scrutineering floor with their brand new solar cars, purpose built for this event.

Opportunity: First look newly designed customised licence plate – presented to Event Management team by the Minister for Transport. Unique opportunity and behind the scenes look at top international contenders. Vehicles will be ‘dismantled’ and reassembled. Dr John Ward Event Scrutineer & Faculty member will be on the floor to answer questions & provide commentary on the teams and the process.
